SO, WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

During our everyday lives, we only consciously use 5% of our brain. The conscious mind has five senses, taste, smell, site, touch, and hearing. It is the part of us that uses reason and logic to navigate the world and environment we live in. The conscious mind can only do one thing at a time.

The other 95% of the mind that we are unconscious of is the subconscious mind. It operates all of our inner and outer body functions tracked at doing 750,000 things at once. It holds our intuitive mind. It stores every memory from conception to this present time. It never sleeps. It is on 24 / 7. This part of our mind has been programmed over the years. It never argues with the conscious mind just accepts everything that aligns with its programming.

Another way to describe hypnosis is how the IMDHA describes it:

"Hypnosis may be defined as an education communication process to a person's mind that allows his/her conscious and subconscious mind to receive the same message."

HOW DOES HYPNOSIS WORK?

The process produces an altered state of consciousness through physical and mental relaxation. The critical faculty of mind is by-passed and the subconscious openly receives the communication.

The mind will only accept that which goes along with the established moral and ethics. The person in a hypnotic state will respond only to suggestions with which he/she is in agreement Desire, belief, and expectancy are necessary for this altered state to have effect in the outer behavior of the individual.

Using hypnosis as a therapy is simply the power of suggestion to bring the conscious mind and the subconscious mind into an abeyance state. In this relaxed state, you can access the subconscious mind to help dissolve old programs, habits, beliefs, and behaviors that you may have that are no longer serving you.

Most of the belief systems we have were created in childhood. This programming has been carved into our adulthood.

Hypnotherapy can bring in new programs, habits, beliefs, and behaviors that can bring to you healing, good health, and a happier lifestyle both in your personal or professional life. The end result is to have the conscious mind and the subconscious mind to work in harmony with each other.

The beauty of hypnotherapy is that you do the work in your subconscious mind and can receive amazing results in a short period of time.
